DDPO directory

The directory of Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs). These organisations are run by Deaf and Disabled people, and have either a board made up of 75% or more Deaf and Disabled people, or a staff team of 50% or more Deaf and Disabled people, or both.

British Deaf Association

Founded in 1890, the British Deaf Association (BDA) is a national Deaf-led organisation that works directly with Deaf people that use British Sign Language (BSL).

DABD (uk)

DABD (uk) is a voluntary independent organisation, providing a range of services to enable and support independent living and promote independence across London and the UK.

Deaf Ethnic Women’s Association

DEWA is a national organisation run and controlled by Deaf women from Ethnic Minority groups. DEWA provides a range of support and empowers BME Deaf women to have a choice and control, be active and be successful in all aspects of their lives without compromising their identity.
