DEWA is a national organisation run and controlled by Deaf women from Ethnic Minority groups. DEWA provides a range of support and empowers BME Deaf women to have a choice and control, be active and be successful in all aspects of their lives without compromising their identity.
Merton Centre for Independent Living
Merton CIL is run and controlled by Deaf and Disabled People for Deaf and Disabled People. We provide advice and advocacy support to Deaf and Disabled People in Merton in the following areas: debt and low income, benefits, health, independent living, community care and housing. We also provide support around Disability Hate Crime
Stress and Anxiety Communities Involvement (SACI)
SACI exists to improve the health and mental well-being of people who suffer with social anxiety by enabling them to make positive choices and increasing their quality of life to have better life chances. Activities include therapeutic self help sessions and physical exercises encouraging them to see physical and mental health as intertwined.
