The London Legal Support Trust (LLST) an independent charity, the City Bridge Trust, and Trust for London, two major London funders, have joined to create a pooled fund to support work under the banner of London Funder’s Propel initiative. Propel was established to enable organisations to explore, develop and lead collaborative approaches to tackle some of London’s biggest challenges.

The Inclusion London work is part of a project with 5 other Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) funded under the Propel Robust Safety Net Mission, with the priority on testing and scaling up solutions to the advice workforce challenges as outlined in the Addressing-skills-gap research.

The Propel Advice Project aims to do this by recruiting trainee advice workers, by training caseworkers to become casework supervisors and by offering a comprehensive package of training and peer support to both trainees and supervisors. IL will arrange and facilitate the training courses and peer support.

The 5 DDPOs are:

Action on Disability Kensington and Chelsea. ADKC
Disability Advice Service Lameth. DASL
Inclusion Barnet
Merton Centre for Independent Living
