Using Microsoft 365 to improve efficiency and collaboration

A full day training, and coaching support, for DDPOs wanting to start or improve the way you use Microsoft 365 for file sharing, collaborative working, and internal and external communications.

Time: 1.30-5.00pm online
This surgery is for organisations not already signed up to Microsoft 365. You MUST sign onto this session if your organisation is not already signed up to Microsoft 365, or if you have signed up but are not yet using the system.

About the training:

This training will support you to understand the main features of Microsoft 365 which support file sharing, collaborative working and internal and external communications. It will help you understand the benefits of using these features and how to set them up and use them to good effect

You will be expected to fill in a short form when you sign up for the training to help us understand your current use of Microsoft 365 and your knowledge gaps.

An online surgery will be available before the training session, for advice and support with signing up to the free Microsoft 365 charity licence, if your organisation does not already use Microsoft 365.

After the training, a small amount of free coaching support will be available for organisations who need support with implementing new learning.

This training will help you:

  • Understand how to get signed up to free charity licence for Microsoft 365 (if you are not already signed up)
  • Understand the key features of Microsoft 365 that can support file sharing, effective collaboration, and internal and external communications
  • Understand how to set up and get the best out of these features
  • Understand common pitfalls that result in ineffective use of Microsoft 365
  • Gain confidence in using features more fully
  • Identify where you need follow up coaching support to implement your learning

Note: You will need to bring a laptop with you. The training will include practical support to try out features of Microsoft. If bringing a laptop with you is not an option, please tell us beforehand.

Who is the training for?

Bookings for this training are open to Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs). It is suitable for staff responsible for setting up IT systems or for data and information management within the organisation, staff leading teams who need to use IT systems for collaboration or communications

Please note that we can only offer one place per DDPO.
