No Show Policy

If for any reason you can no longer attend an event, please let us know immediately and with at least 24 hours notice from the start time of the event. This gives us the chance to offer your place to someone else.

Our courses are very popular and often book up fully. Therefore, no shows at Power Up events not only cost the project money, but can also deny somebody else the chance to participate.

While we do not charge for places, Power Up networking, training and events are not free: venue hire, facilitators, catering, administration and access support* costs are all subsidised so that it is ‘free’ for you.

We therefore ask you to respect the investment made by London Councils in this project in the event of you no longer being able to attend a booking.

If you can no longer attend a booking:

Please give us notice immediately and with at least 24 hours notice from the start time of the event. This will allow us to offer your place to someone else.

If you fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation:

You will be classed as a ‘no show’, and we reserve the right to charge a no show fee of £10 per person. This is to make sure our booking, catering and admin costs are covered.

Repeated no shows may result in future bookings being restricted or refused.

*Please note: Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to contribute towards access support. For more details, see our section on Accessibility.
