Shaping Our Lives is a national organisation and network of user-led groups, service users and disabled people. We are a user-led organisation committed to inclusive involvement and specialise in the research and practice of involving diverse communities in policy, planning and delivery of services.
Southwark Association for Mental Health is a user-led mental health group that runs campaigns about issues that concern us, often in conjunction with Mental Health Resistance Network; publishes a quarterly magazine Southwark Mental Health News; and supports BME user-led mental health group Kindred Minds which runs peer support groups and is currently in the process of developing a BME mental health user manifesto.
Stay Safe East works to tackle hate crime and harassment, domestic and sexual violence and other forms of abuse against Deaf and disabled people.We support clients to keep safe and move on from abuse. We work to ensure that disabled victims and survivors get justice and resolution, and to change policy and practices.
SACI exists to improve the health and mental well-being of people who suffer with social anxiety by enabling them to make positive choices and increasing their quality of life to have better life chances. Activities include therapeutic self help sessions and physical exercises encouraging them to see physical and mental health as intertwined.
