The Access to Work policy team want to learn about your experiences of AtW Workplace Assessments. They want to ask you if AtW Workplace Assessments are useful to people who are deaf or have a hearing loss, and how you think they can be improved for Deaf people.
Online disability hate crime – fill in the survey on what action the government should take
A cross-party group of MPs believe that social media companies and the Government have failed disabled users and must act urgently. The Petitions Committee have launched a consultation on their draft recommendations for action. Fill out their survey to make sure your views are heard.
ROFA responds to UK government’s “global summit on disability”
We joined DPAC, ROFA and other DDPOs for a week of action around the ‘Global Disability Summit’ hosted by the UK Government. An International Solidarity Summit was organised to coincide with the event, to highlight the hypocrisy of the UK government, who are themselves in breach of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

We note the global disability summit being held in London at the end of July. We are strongly in favour of international support that improves the lives of Deaf and Disabled people across the world. We also have a number of concerns about the summit.
Hate crime inquiry – How can we build community cohesion when hate crime is on the rise?
The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on hate crime is running an enquiry. The APPG is interested to hear from experts, practitioners, victims and their representative organisations, as well as academics and others with an interest in and knowledge of the topic.
