NICE consulted on whether to update their guidelines on diagnosing and managing chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) which is also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) (or encephalopathy).

Inclusion London strongly recommended that the guidelines were updated.   and that NICE  listen to ‘experts by experience’ i.e. those with chronic fatigue syndrome and M.E.  For all Inclusion London’s recommendations see our response in the NICE Comments form.

We were pleased that following the consultation NICE decided to update their guidance.
