Inclusion London’s new training program has arrived

Inclusion London is launching a training programme to give individuals and community-based groups the skills and confidence to run campaigns.

Our new campaign training programme comprises four workshops, delivered over four months, designed to equip you with the skills to develop a powerful voice, demand better rights and campaign for change. It will be an opportunity to learn together, share ideas and take action as you progress.

Our training is for Deaf and Disabled people who:

  • Want to campaign for change
  • To organise in their community and support local and national campaigns
  • Are passionate about fighting injustice
  • Are a member of a Deaf or Disabled People’s Organisation or a local community group

You don’t need any prior knowledge to join. You just need a desire to make life better for you and other Deaf and Disabled people.

How long is the training programme?

  • The programme will run for four months, from the end of September 2022 to January 2023
  • The monthly three-hour workshops will be delivered online via zoom
  • We will also support campaigners with three hours of mentoring, including campaigning together in community settings

We will run the four sessions on the following days

  • Wednesday 28/09/2022 – 2pm to 5pm
  • Wednesday 26/10/2022 – 2pm to 5pm
  • Wednesday 30/11/2022 – 2pm to 5pm
  • Wednesday 18/01/2023 – 2pm to 5pm

Our training covers the following areas:

  • How to plan a campaign and make an impact
  • Figuring out goals and setting out objectives
  • Choosing the right tactics
  • Learning to bring people together and empower them to plan, act and drive change.

Closing Date

Friday 2 September, 5 pm.
