2.00pm-3.30pm Wednesday 30th June via Zoom
Please note: maximum 20 places, these will initially be offered to people who are part of the SVRR project.
This briefing will help you to:
- Recognise the difference between case management and case recording
- Understand the reasons and purposes of effective case management
- Recognise the key elements of well recorded and well managed cases
- Understand what the AQS says about good case management
You will be asked to complete a short pre-event questionnaire/homework prior to the briefing so you can start thinking about the key issues before you attend.
The ASA will also send out examples of well written and poorly written case files for participants to look at prior to the event. This will form part of the group work session and the expectation will be that everyone will have looked at these.
Who is the session for?
DDPO staff or volunteers who provide advice, managers and supervisors.
You do not need to have the AQS (Advice Quality Standard) to attend this briefing. The briefing will generally help participants reflect on the key elements of well recorded and well managed cases.
What is a DDPO?
Please note this is an event for Deaf and Disabled People Organisations (DDPOs). DDPOs are organisations that are run and controlled by Deaf/Disabled people, with Deaf/Disabled people representing at least 75% of Trustees and over 50% of paid staff.
