These networks are a great opportunity to share your experiences of providing social welfare advice and to learn from each other

The PNMs are a great opportunity to share your experiences of providing social welfare advice and to learn from each other, as well as hearing from Inclusion London about current campaigns and policy work, especially related to the cost of living crisis.

  • An opportunity for you to share the current issues and challenges you are facing as advice workers.
  • An opportunity to discuss how any current local and national legislation or policies are having an impact on the lives of Deaf and Disabled people.
  • A discussion around which issues can be taken forward as social policy or campaigning work.
  • An information exchange around resources to support you with your casework, particularly in relation to the cost-of-living crisis.
  • An update on any other training and legal briefings on offer from Inclusion London.

About the SVRR Project

The SVRR project is funded by Trust for London. The Trust funds a number of DDPOS to assist them to increase their capacity to deliver information, advice and advocacy to Deaf and Disabled residents. The Trust also funds IL to support these DDPOs and a broader DDPO network where appropriate, to equip them with the practical skills, training, peer support and resources they need to improve and strengthen their advice provision.
