SVRR Peer Network Meeting

Open to all staff and volunteers who deliver advice in a DDPO. This meeting includes a briefing from Merton Centre for Independent Living (CIL) on using evidence from casework to achieve change.

The Peer Network Meeting is open to all staff and volunteers who deliver advice within a DDPO.

Meeting outline

At this meeting:

  • Michael Turner, Policy & Strategy Manager  at Merton CIL will share his organisation’s experience in collecting and analysing casework data and using it in a wider policy work with the local authority and beyond.  Michael will also talk about some of the successes, challenges and lessons learnt from this work 
  • Jon will facilitate discussions on current advice issues emerging from DDPOs; and the options DDPOs have, for influencing and campaigning on these issues
  • You will be able to meet fellow advice workers to share your experiences and top tips.
