SVRR Peer Group Network Meeting

The Peer Group Network Meeting is open to all individuals who deliver advice within a DDPO

Meeting outline:

The quarterly Strengthening Voices, Realising Rights (SVRR) Peer Group Network Meeting will enable your advice staff to share experiences, issues and information and receive legal briefings.

At this meeting:

  • Svetlana will deliver a legal briefing on ‘How to use the Equality Act to challenge discrimination during the assessment process.’ This could include inaccessible assessment centres, inaccessible communication, failure to put in place adjustments so that person could effectively participate in the assessment process.
  • Jon will facilitate discussions on current advice issues emerging from DDPOs; and what options DDPOs have, for influencing and campaigning on these issues.

This meeting is suitable for individuals who deliver advice within a DDPO.
