Strategic Planning for Success
Full day training session for DDPOs wanting to improve their strategic planning

Time: 10am to 3.30pm
Location: The Greenwood Centre
The day will highlight the importance of having clear strategic direction to ensure the success of your organisation. It will explore some of the difficulties DDPOs often face in planning strategically. You will learn practical tools which can help overcome these issues so you can develop a strategic plan which genuinely helps guide your organisation, and helps you attract interest and support for your work.
Who is the training for:
Bookings for this training are open to Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs). It is suitable for trustees, managers or other leaders of organisations who have responsibility for planning and organising for the strategic development of their DDPO.

- Understand the purpose and advantages of having a robust strategic plan
- Understand what needs to be included in a strategic plan
- Understand who to involve in a strategic planning process
- Explore some of the common challenges faced by DDPOs in developing strategic plans
- Explore practical tools for developing a strategic plan which genuinely guides your organisation, and helps you attract interest and support
Following the training, if you are actively working on developing a strategic plan, you may be able to access follow up coaching support from one of Inclusion London’s Associate Business Consultants.

Deaf and Disabled People Organisations (DDPOs) are organisations that are run and controlled by Deaf/Disabled people, with Deaf/Disabled people representing at least 75% of Trustees and over 50% of paid staff.
