A half day training session for DDPOs wanting to improve the way you measure and communicate your impact

Who is the training for?
This training is open to Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) only. It is suitable for all staff responsible for measuring or communicating impact.
About the training
This session will highlight the importance of effective impact measurement to ensure that you are able to evidence and communicate the benefits of your work and the difference it makes for beneficiaries and on wider change. It will explore some of the challenges DDPOs may face in measuring impact and how to overcome these.
You will learn how to identify data you need to capture to be able to evidence impact, how to pin down easily measured evidence of successful change, and simple ways to communicate your impact effectively to the outside world.
The aims of the training are to help you understand:
- What impact measurement involves and challenges you may face
- The benefits of effective impact measurement
- How to identify measures of change
- How to identify data you need to capture to evidence change and methods for data collection
- Simple ways to communicate impact effectively
