Marketing Skills for Hate Crime Training in your borough
For DDPOs operating in London with an interest in offering our Disability Hate Crime training programme. Coproduced by DDPOs involved in the London DDPO HC Partnership.

This online training is for Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) who want to find out how to promote our Hate Crime Training using digital channels.
The Hate Crime Training aims to improve understanding of hate crime issues and encourage staff of non-DDPOs to become allies with Disabled people through training materials with films, delivered by Disabled trainers.
This online marketing skills workshop is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in promoting the Hate Crime training using digital channels. Learn how to best utilise a marketing mix, create engaging online content and promote new offerings.
The training includes:
- Building a marketing strategy
- Communications Planning
- Designing Communications
- Digital Accessibility
Prior knowledge of digital marketing is not necessary, and a range of knowledge bases are welcome.
When you book we will send you a short questionnaire which is to help us plan the workshop with all participants in mind. We will ask you to complete the 2 minute questionnaire by 1st June.
Attendees will also receive examples of marketing material including: Email Template, Social Media posts, Website news blog, Press Release
This workshop is in collaboration with consultancy CIC Inclusion Unlimited.
Jenny McGibbon, digital marketer and consultant for Inclusion Unlimited, will lead the workshop. Jenny holds qualifications in both International Branding and Graphic Design, and specialises in helping DDPOs utilise digital marketing to expand their reach.

What is a DDPO?
Please note this is an event for Deaf and Disabled People Organisations (DDPOs). DDPOs are organisations that are run and controlled by Deaf/Disabled people, with Deaf/Disabled people representing at least 75% of Trustees and over 50% of paid staff.
