About the training
Having a good strategic plan to guide your organisation, keep you focused on your vision for change and help you prioritise your valuable time and resources is a real key to success. But many organisations struggle to find the time to plan, or develop plans that are quickly forgotten and left to gather dust on a shelf. This training will help you take a refreshing look at how to make strategic plans which are engaging, relevant and useful
About the trainer
This training is being delivered by Alex Hendra who is an expert in providing business and finance development support to DDPOs and has 17 years’ experience in CEO or senior management roles in the charity sector with responsibility for strategy development.

By the end of the masterclass, you will:
- Understand the purpose and advantages of having a robust strategic plan
- Understand what needs to be included in a strategic plan
- Explored some of the common challenges faced by DDPOs in developing strategic plans
- Have explored practical tools for developing a strategic plan which genuinely guides your organisation’s work, and helps you attract interest and support
Who is it for?
This event is for staff or trustees within London’s Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations who have responsibility for strategic planning.

Business Advice Surgery
During this year, there is the opportunity to book one hour surgery slots with the trainer for business advice (this can be for advice on your organisations’ strategic planning).
