Date: 18 April 2024
Time: 2pm-5pm
Location: On Zoom

If you are working for a
DDPO in an advice, advocacy or caseworker role, we would be happy to see you at our quarterly Peer Network meeting.

Who is it for:
This meeting is for staff or volunteers from DDPOs who provide advice or do casework to support Disabled people.

This meeting will give you the opportunity to:

  • meet people in similar roles, learn from each other and share experience
  • jointly work on solutions to pressing problems
  • feed into wider London and national campaigns

The legal briefing will be an overview of useful legal resources that can help to make your job easier. This will include:

  • looking at websites that offer good and accessible legal information and template letters
  • chat bots and Pre Action Protocol templates.
  • good places to get legal advice and support on complex cases.

Our main focus will be housing, discrimination, social care and welfare benefits.  We all would also love to hear from you about your favourite online resources.
