Online workshop: Inclusive Hiring – decisions, job offers and onboarding

Date and time: 9th March 2022 from 2pm to 4pm

Hosted by: Real’s Tower Hamlets Employers Network (THEN)

Find out how to make an objective hiring decision and select the best candidate, no matter what their disability status. Learn how you can make sure the job offer is inclusive and what to do about unsuccessful disabled candidates. Discover disability-friendly induction and onboarding processes. Make sure you can welcome all new starters to your organisation, encourage them to discuss any workplace adjustments and find out where you can go to get the expert advice you might need about resolving any challenges.

All employers from any sector and based in London are welcome. The workshop will be particularly relevant to human resource and EDI professionals, line managers and anyone involved in the recruitment, training, management and/or retention of people.

Who is leading the workshop?

Jane Hatton, the director of Evenbreak, will guide you through creating an inclusive workplace culture. Evenbreak, an award-winning social enterprise that provides expert employment advice and consultation, is one of THEN and NOW’s key partners.
