Services Support Workers in the London area

If you would like to join TeamRAD – delivering invaluable one-to-one and group support to deaf people, in their first language, usually British Sign Language (BSL) or Makaton, please get in touch! Our Independent Living team provides person centred support so that deaf people (including those who have additional support needs, e.g. a learning disability or mental health challenge) can develop the skills needed to live independently.

To apply for any of these roles you must be a native user of BSL or minimum Level 2.

Roles available:

Permanent part time 16 to 30 hours per week. Salary – £21,172.13 full time equivalent
Casual hours for those who like the flexibility. £10.86 per hour

Permanent roles attract life assurance benefit and generous pension contributions.

The sessional opportunity is flexible work and colleagues can choose support sessions from those offered. Many sessional colleagues develop their skills and gain valuable experience before eventually becoming permanent (when vacancies arise). Sessional colleagues are not permanent employees. There is no guarantee of work and days/hours can vary depending on business need.
