Parks for London – new Trustees wanted

Parks for London are seeking new trustees

The Mayor of London set up a  London Green Spaces Commission  to identify new models for the delivery and management of London’s green spaces.  The recommendations include creating a Centre for Excellence for London’s Parks and green spaces to help champion the many benefits of green spaces and to support more inclusive use of these spaces amongst other things.

The charity Parks for London will be transitioning into the Centre for Excellence and is currently recruiting additional trustees to support this endeavour and the growth of the charity more generally.  We wish to encourage a range of candidates to apply, seeking new trustees who reflect London’s diverse population.   We are looking for proactive, ambitious people with experience in public health, culture & sport, housing & marketing/PR.

This is an exciting time to join the charity and to be part of shaping the new Centre for Excellence for London’s parks and green spaces, which have proved so valuable to Londoners during the pandemic.
