The United Nations have just published a statement strengthening the shared understanding about Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons wioth Disabilities, which is the Right to Inclusive Education.
From Monday 12 September Transport for London are trialling a ‘please offer me a seat’ badge and card. The badge and card are for customers who find it difficult to stand when using public transport, and are particularly targeted at those with hidden disabilities, conditions and illnesses.

Transport for London are re-launching their ‘Come On Board’ campaign, letting passengers know about their various services such as; Dial-a-Ride, Audio/Visual information, as well as offering various maps including Step-free access, Toilets at Tube stations and Avoiding stairs.
97% of respondents said they were very satisfied / satisfied with the Power Up events they had attended in 2015, 98% said the information they received at Power Up events was very useful or useful, 96% said Power Up had had a positive impact on their organisation and work.
