RADvice is often the first point of contact for our customers; providing information, advice and guidance to hundreds of people across the UK on topics such as housing, employment, benefits, travel, family matters and more.

As part of our RADvice team you will provide information and advice to people in the community (face-to-face as lockdown measures ease), via video-call, Live-Chat and email. You will ensure that our information and advice is accurate and up to date and that it is given in a timely and supportive way. It isn’t always easy reaching out to get the support that you need so we rely on our IAG Officer to make this experience a positive one, for all visitors to our services.

If you have similar experience of providing information and advice, are able to advocate the needs and wishes of the people who we support, are proactive, organised, enjoy problem-solving and can work independently whilst thriving in a team – do get in touch!

To apply for this role you must be a native user of BSL (British Sign Language) or minimum Level 2.

This position is permanent, with life assurance benefit and generous pension contributions.

For full details, download an application pack here – Alternatively please contact our HR colleagues on 0300 688 2525 (voice phone), 0300 688 2527 (Text phone) or by email

Please feel free to complete your supporting statement by sending in a video clip in BSL although this is not an essential requirement. In addition to the application, please send us a video clip of yourself telling us a little bit about you and why you want to work for RAD (no more than 2 minutes) – this gives us the opportunity to visually see your signing skills and bring your application to life.

This post is subject to two references and an enhanced DBS check.
