Inclusion Barnet is seeking more talented trustees to join our board!

Lived experience of disability, which could include lived experience of mental health issues or long term conditions, is a prerequisite for the role, as is the ability to think strategically about our charity’s direction.

Board members are expected to attend quarterly board meetings, contribute to the work of charity by offering their skills and expertise, and to be responsive via email in between meetings as issues arise. They are responsible for the charity as a whole, including governance, finance and strategy, although day to day running is delegated to our Chief Executive.

These positions are not remunerated, but are an opportunity to gain valuable strategic management experience and to contribute to the work of a well-respected local charity.

We are currently particularly interested in hearing from applicants with expertise in the following areas:

  • finance
  • law
  • human resources
  • fundraising
  • media

Applicants should submit their CV with a covering note explaining how they could use their skills and their lived experience of disability to contribute to the work of Inclusion Barnet.

  • Work from home opportunities
  • Flexible working hours
