Salary: £50,000 per year

Hours: 37 Hours per Week

SignHealth are a passionate and unique Deaf led charity, committed to creating a future where there are no barriers to good health and well-being for Deaf people.

Do you have experience in the either the charitable sector or Social care sector?

We want you to work alongside our Director of Finance, People & Facilities and the Finance Team to ensure all financing procedures are followed to ensure streamlining of the month end and year end processes.

We are looking for a Head of Finance whose preferred language is BSL.

A high proportion of your work will be performed from home.

You will be required to visit our services, many of whom work in Residential care homes across England. You will also be required to attend meetings and events outside of your home.

Our ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience and a minimum of 1 year’s experience in leading a small finance team and providing commercial support to senior management.

We want to make our financial information accessible using graphs and infographics. So, if you have experience of creating dash-boards from accounting software and CRMs using PowerBI and/or Tableau, that is a bonus!

We will expect you to have knowledge and experience of preparing management accounts and audit schedules, leading on the annual audit and ownership of financial controls.

You will be required to train, develop and motivate the finance team which consists of Deaf and hearing staff to help them all reach their full potential!
