We are looking for an Employment Advisor on a full time basis homebased but with some travel and preferably nearby to London. To apply for this role you must be a native user of BSL (British Sign Language) or minimum Level 3 and be a car owner/driver.

Employment Advisor

Fixed Term Contract – until 31.12.2023 (with possible extension or the opportunity to apply for a permanent position if available).

37.5 hours per week

Salary up to £24,000 (depending upon skills and experience)

DeafAdvance’s employment advisors aim to achieve meaningful employment and progression for deaf people. They support employers to provide accessible and positive workplaces where deaf people can achieve their full potential.

Employment is at the heart of RAD – it is why our organisation was originally established in 1841 and our employment advisors have successfully supported hundreds of people into training, volunteering and employment. They provide a pivotal role in RAD’s services team – join us and make a difference!

You will provide employment information, advice and support (to deaf people and employers) face:face and remotely (1: 1 and in groups). If you are proactive, organised and can effectively support people into sustainable employment, challenge inequalities and can work independently whilst thriving in a team – do get in touch!

This position is on a fixed term contract, with life assurance benefit and generous pension contributions.
