Disability Advice Service Lambeth (dasl) is Lambeth’s leading pan-impairment Disabled People’s Organisation. We provide a wide range of services to Disabled people in Lambeth including advice, information, advocacy, Direct Payments support, social and sports activities and peer support services.

Through the Independent Living and Carers Partnership, we are commissioned by Lambeth Council to provide information, advice, recruitment support, peer support and training to people in receipt of a Direct Payment or Personal Health Budget.

Our current Team Leader will be taking up the post of dasl Director shortly so we wish to fill this vacancy as soon as possible.

The Direct Payments Team Leader is responsible for operational management of the service, leading our experienced team, identifying opportunities to develop the service and expanding our reach.

You will be a member of our senior management team and will contribute to the overall development of dasl and the delivery of our Strategic Plan 2018-2021.

If you have experience of providing advice and information to people, are able to lead and motivate a team of staff and are able to engage with strategic issues within a health and social care context, we’d really like to hear from you.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £33,076 per annum
