Business Development Officer
(based in London or nearby with some travel across the UK)

37.5 hours per week

Salary up to £30,000 (depending upon skills and experience)

We are currently in a period of growth and expansion and we are looking for someone who wants to make a positive difference to the lives of deaf people. This is a challenging but rewarding job in our development team. We are looking for a person with excellent sales skills to ensure the continued funding of our expanding services.

You must understand the funding landscape so that you can identify viable funders (including local authorities and government departments), build mutually beneficial relationships, and achieve positive funding outcomes that will ensure the future of life-changing services.

Proven sales experience and a track record of developing and managing commercial relationships is a must, as is an ability to spot an opportunity and deliver creative and saleable solutions that really work.

If you can present a compelling case, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and meet all the essential requirements of the job description – please apply! We’d love to hear from you. In return we offer flexible working and a supportive working environment where we celebrate success and value colleague feedback.

We are ideally looking for a car owner/driver.

This position is permanent, with life assurance benefit and generous pension contributions.
