Deaf Ethnic Women’s Association
DEWA is a national organisation run and controlled by Deaf women from Ethnic Minority groups. DEWA provides a range of support and empowers BME Deaf women to have a choice and control, be active and be successful in all aspects of their lives without compromising their identity.
Deafinitely Theatre
Deafinitely’s vision is a world where deaf people are a valued part of the national theatre landscape, recognised for the excellence of their work. We are the only professional deaf-led theatre company in the UK that works bilingually in British Sign Language and spoken English, and produces work that caters to audiences of all ages.
Disability Hate Crime Network
The Disability Hate Crime Network is an unfunded group of disabled people from a range of backgrounds who campaign for greater recognition of the danger of disability hate crime. We also deliver training and advice on Disability Hate Crime to various agencies including police, Crown Prosecution Service, local authorities and academia.
Merton Centre for Independent Living
Merton CIL is run and controlled by Deaf and Disabled People for Deaf and Disabled People. We provide advice and advocacy support to Deaf and Disabled People in Merton in the following areas: debt and low income, benefits, health, independent living, community care and housing.
