Disability hate crime support

Merton CIL is run and controlled by Deaf and Disabled People for Deaf and Disabled People. We provide advice and advocacy support to Deaf and Disabled People in Merton in the following areas: debt and low income, benefits, health, independent living, community care and housing. We also provide support around Disability Hate Crime

We offer high quality services to local residents seeking mental health support. We also provide information and signposting. A key part of our work is challenging the stigma and discrimination that people experience in their everyday lives.

People First is a national organisation run and led by people with learning difficulties. We aim to raise awareness of the rights of people with learning difficulties, develop the skill base of self-advocacy groups and individuals, and make sure that their voices are heard at government policy level.

Disabled people working together for real choices

Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) provides accessible services that deaf people want and need in British Sign Language (BSL), to keep them safe, happy, well and achieving their full potential.

A self – advocacy group run by and for people with learning disabilities. There are 4 main areas that the group are involved in: 1. Campaigning 2. Training and workshops 3. Fundraising 4. Club nights

Sisters of Frida is a disabled women CiC. We are completely disabled women lead for self identified disabled women. We are national.

Stay Safe East works to tackle hate crime and harassment, domestic and sexual violence and other forms of abuse against Deaf and disabled people.We support clients to keep safe and move on from abuse. We work to ensure that disabled victims and survivors get justice and resolution, and to change policy and practices.

Transport for All is a disabled and older person’s organisation that champions accessible transport in London.
