Government’s 10 year employment strategy for disabled people – Improving Lives: the future of work, health and disability

Following a consultation on the ‘Improving Lives’ green paper in 2016 the government published ‘Improving Lives: the future of work, health and disability’ in late November 2017.  This document sets out the government’s employment strategy for Deaf and Disabled people over the next ten years and includes information on the consideration the government gave to consultation responses. The government received a huge response to its consultation with about 6,000 comments including over 3,000 emails.
