In the recent Davey legal case the county council reduced the individual’s care package and broke up his hours – the likely impact of that was going to be that a PA team he had had for many years might leave and he would then need to re-recruit. The social worker told the judge they did not think re-recruitment presented a problem.

Inclusion London is keen to hear about the experiences of London DDPOs and your members and what if any barriers you have come across in trying to recruit suitable Personal Assistants.
